This is one of the most impressive acts we have ever seen, considering Anthony Kulkamp is getting brain surgery while playing “Yesterday” by the Beatles.

Since this is one of our absolute favorites, we applaud this choice not only for the song selection but the relevance it brings to the man’s feelings throughout this surgery.

The idea that patients can be completely awake as they are having drills burrowed into their skulls and not even feel it should blow your mind in general, but to play an instrument during it? Wow, just wow.

We can assume from the reaction of the nurses and doctors in the video that this was most likely the first or only time that a patient had ever requested to bring and play their guitar while receiving this serious and life threatening surgery. You will see the nurses, themselves, taping the performance in aw and standing around watching him play what makes him the happiest.
