I have to admit, every time I watch any tribute at Kennedy Center– it’s known that I will tear up and become emotional. This stunning tribute to Led Zeppelin was no exception.

In 2012, the surviving members of the iconic rock band, Led Zeppelin were celebrated by numerous musicians to honor their long standing career, and impact they have created in the rock scene.

Among the musicians chosen to pay tribute to the band were Ann and Nancy Wilson from Heart.

Along with a massive ensemble that featured a choir and orchestra, the sisters deliver an authentic, moving rendition of “Stairway to Heaven“, that brought Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones to tears.

With over five million views of the performance on collective social media platforms, the video speaks volumes in regards to the impact this signature song has.
