Mick, Is That You?

We can’t stop talking about last week’s episode of Saturday Night Live. Not only was it the first time showrunners dared to air Saturday Night Live live simultaneously across the country for the first time in its history, it featured a pretty gossip worthy Family Feud sketch that saw Kenan Thompson’s Steve Harvey bring back some of the hottest stars of 1977 to battle against the hottest stars of 2017. While Cecily Strong’s Liza Minnelli was deliciously over the top and Jimmy Fallon’s Welcome Back, Kotter, Vinnie Barbarino-era John Travolta faced off against an older, 2017 John Travolta, it was One Direction singer Harry Styles who stole the show with his over the top – but incredibly spot on – impression of Mick Jagger, leaving viewers cracking up in delight.

“I know him, he comes to see me in lots of shows. And yeah, I can see the influence. But I don’t say anything to him, I just tell him he looks nice. I like him. He’s very decent.” – Mick Jagger on Harry Styles

Sure, Styles looks like a baby faced Mick Jagger – but the way he channeled those signature dance moves, facial ticks and even Mick’s speech patterns was enough to convince us that there isn’t anyone who could have nailed Mick the way he did.

Stay tuned until the end of the video; as Jimmy Fallon runs across the stage to play John Travolta with two different costumes and two different wigs, Harry can be spotted just behind him drawing laughs from the audience and cast members with a few choice dance moves that are sure to get you laughing right along with them. Enjoy!
