If you’re a musician and you’ve spent your life recording music, then you can probably to attest to that embarrassing feeling you get when you hear your old recordings. That’s exactly what happened to Dave Grohl when he recently got to hear his old recordings.

The truth is that Dave Grohl has always been a great musician and probably came out of the womb playing a drum solo. To us, an old Dave Grohl recording would sound amazing regardless, but musicians that listen to their own material seemingly have a tendency to be hypercritical of said material.
