Christine McVie Spills Details About the Future Of Fleetwood Mac—No Way!

We may be on the brink of some brand new, and exciting things coming from Fleetwood Mac! Recently, band member Christine McVie revealed in an interview that the band is in the process of finishing up a brand new studio album, and is hoping to soon be planning for a world tour! McVie states that the band has cut seven songs so far, but all have been without Stevie Nicks. Nicks is currently planning her own solo tour, but Fleetwood Mac is hoping she will rejoin the band as soon as it ends.

When asked if the album will be out by next year, McVie said this:

“One would hope so, yeah. That’s the plan. And I can’t wait for it to be finished. It’ll be great. And then we’ll hopefully do this world tour with Stevie. And after that, who knows? But we’re all still alive, how about that? So that’s a start.”- McVie stated.

If Nicks happens to not agree with doing another album, McVie said she, Mick Fleetwood, Lindsey Buckingham and John McVie will go out on a smaller tour in support of the album. Hopefully Stevie agrees (we don’t see why she wouldn’t), because it would be phenomenal to see them all back on stage together. But either way, we’re stoked to see they still want to make music!
