I Can Feel The Magic Floating In The Air!

For Faith Hill’s TV Special “When The Lights Go Down”, she invited Carlos Santana to play alongside her for her hit track, “Breathe.” This song was written by Stephanie Bentley and Holly Lamar and was released on October 4, 1999. It eventually received gold certification in the US.

  • Topped the Billboard Country charts for four weeks
  • Number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100

Though the song dominated the charts, the music video was just as popular and it even peaked at number 4 in the CMT’s 100 Greatest Videos in 2008. They shot that video in the desert. It has also won several awards from the Billboard Music Awards and Grammys.

Faith revealed a more sultry side to herself in what would become one of the most controversial videos of her career.

Carlos Santana was a great choice for this particular collaboration since he is possibly one of the few who can play this wonderfully melodic song with an additional cool twist to it. It became more soulful and the guitar solo was just the perfect final touch to the awesomeness of this version!
