Carpool Karaoke: Not Your Mama’s Morning Commute

James Corden’s critically acclaimed Carpool Karaoke just made the jump to Apple Music, leaving the small pond that was its brief segment on The Late Late Show for the open water of its very own series and a whole new batch of celebrities and music legends ready and willing to take the ride. While we’re excited to see where Carpool Karaoke is headed, we’ll always have a soft spot for our favorite Late Late Show segment that paired everyone from Rod Stewart to Madonna with James Corden as he ferried them to ‘work,’ especially last year’s segment that found him in the driver’s seat next to pop sensation Bruno Mars.

Fun Fact: With 135 million views, Corden’s Carpool Karaoke through the streets of London with pop singer Adele is the biggest YouTube viral video of 2016.

With over 67 million views to its name, Bruno and James’ Carpool Karaoke installment is probably the most fun we’ve ever seen anyone have in the front seat of that little Range Rover; for over 15 minutes, these two engage in some serious car dance battles to everything from “Grenade” to the Mark Ronson driven “Uptown Funk,” exploring the roots of Mars’ obsession with hats by having him try on hats hiding somewhere in the depths of the backseat and y’all, there is even a wardrobe change towards the end of the video that is absolutely ridiculous beyond belief.

Sure, Bruno’s not classic rock (and we know at least one of you will chime in to remind us), but when something is just this damn fun, who cares? Check it out in the video below and as always, don’t forget to have a good time!
