Hangin’ Ten!

Summer is not complete without the Beach Boys, and luckily for us, the end of summer will be capped off with a bang! Just in time for the season to end, Brian Wilson has released a brand new, surf rockin’ track that will instantly make you want to catch a wave!

The Beach Boys founder is back, with a brand new song to end the summer just right! He premiered his new, unreleased tune “Run James Run” on Soundcloud recently, and it’s already garnered tones of positive feedback and reception from fans and critics alike. While listening to the tune, you will instantly be taken back to the beachy vibes of the 60’s and 70’s, and will be strongly tempted to grab a surfboard and paddle out to sea. Collaborator Andy Paley talked about how the song came about.

The idea was that it would be sung by a female in the style of a Sixties girl-group like the Chiffons,” Paley told Rolling Stone of the track. “It ultimately didn’t end up getting recorded with a woman’s voice but still I like the recording with Brian singing lead.“- Paley said.

You can listen to the track down below!
