Breaking: Wife of Legendary Vocalist Dead at 90

Tragedy shook the music world once again this morning, when it was announced that Barbara Sinatra, wife of legendary vocalist Frank Sinatra, passed away peacefully at her home in Rancho Mirage, CA at the age of 90 years old. It was reported that Barbara was comfortable and surrounded by family at the time of her passing. She had been battling health issues for quite some time.

Barbara Blakeley Marx married Frank in 1976. She was Frank’s fourth, longest and final marriage. The couple were married for 22 years, all the way up until Frank’s passing in 1998. Barbara founded an organization called the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center Foundation which provided many services to children, with an emphasis on counseling to child abuse victims. Her and Frank built the organization up, and she continued to work with it even after his passing.
