Le Studio Perishes In Fire

It’s a sad day in rock history as we have just learned that the legendary studio Le Studio has been mostly destroyed in a devastating fire.

Le Studio has been home to the recordings of such iconic artists as David Bowie, Cat Stevens, The Bee Gees, and most notably Rush who even referred to the studio as their ‘Abby Road’.

As of right now, we know that police and local fire department are investigating this fire as a suspected arson. According to CBS News, a call was received around 5:30 AM reporting the fire. By the time help arrived there was not much they could do besides put out the fire adding “about two-thirds of the building has burned so far and it could end up being a total loss” to their statement.

This studio is a staple in the world of music being the recording home for many iconic records and songs. We have yet to hear from the studio’s most notable act Rush. We can only suspect that Rush will release a statement perhaps later today or even later this week.

We also do not yet know if there will be efforts to rebuild the studio. We’ll have more on this as it develops.
