Run Run Run

Motorhead lead singer Lemmy Kilmister, ZZ Topper Billy Gibbons, and Nirvana drummer king Dave Grohl rock classic holiday “Run Rudolph Run” with metal joy and it rocks!!

“Run, run Rudolph, Santa’s got to make it to town. Santa make him hurry, tell him he can take the freeway down. Run, run Rudolph, reeling like a merry-go-round…”

Originally a Chuck Berry song, inspired by the cartoon “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer,” this killer spin has fast-paced spunk, class and zazz with southern style/ metal-esque vocals from Lemmy. Although we kind of wish that Billy took the lead on the vocals, we still enjoy the hardcore cover!

Interesting Fact:  Other artists to record the “Run Rudolph Run” song include Sheryl Crow, Bryan Adams, The Grateful Dead, Jimmy Buffett, Dwight Yoakam, Bon Jovi and Keith Richards.

Combining some of the greatest musicians that rock has to offer (metal or not) this cover of “Run Rudolph Run” is sure to make your night better! Enjoy this recording from We Wish You A Metal Christmas!
