The Legendary Guitarist…

Angus Young sat for an interview with the Rolling Stone magazine and as their world tour nears the end on September 20, he shares some thoughts on Axl Rose’s time with the band. We’ve seen fan-film footage and whether you’re a big fan of the Guns ‘n Roses frontman or not, it’s undeniable that he’s doing a fine job leading AC/DC.

“He’s been really good. He prepares himself, ready to go. We sit and chew the fat before we get on, work out what songs we want to do. It’s gotta be fun for him, and for us.”

And when asked about his plans post-tour, Angus said he’s not really sure.

“At this point, I don’t know. We were committed to finishing the tour. Who knows what I’ll feel after? When you sign on and say, “I’m gonna do this and that,” it’s always good to say at the end of it, “I’ve done all I said I would do.”

The band lost several members in the past two years — Malcolm Young, Phil Rudd, Brian Johnson and most recently, Cliff Williams. We just have to wait and see where they’ll go from here.
