Alice In Chains Opened For Guns ‘n Roses But Singer Hasn’t Met Axl Rose Yet

The much-awaited reunion tour of Guns ‘n Roses has received praises from both fans and critics — they’ve given us all that we wanted and more. And while we’re all aware that American rock band Alice in Chains has been opening some of their shows during the start of their North American Summer Stadium run and even when they kicked off their reunion gig last April, did you know vocalist and guitarist William DuVall has never met GnR frontman Axl Rose?

You’d think they’d bump into each other back stage and probably even exchange a few beers. But, that wasn’t the case. During an interview with Michigan radio station WWBN Banana 101.5, William said:

“I have not met with W. Axl Rose as of yet, so perhaps that will happen over the next few days.”

They still have one gig to play together on July 3 in Chicago. After which, Alice in Chains will go on their own tour starting in Portland, Oregon.
