Can it get any better than this?

Every band member of Led Zeppelin agree that their song “Kashmir” was their greatest musical achievement. Jimmy Page said the song was so positive lyrically, and it has become the band’s most iconic tune.

Many people over the years have covered the iconic tune, but one of the greatest covers of “Kashmir” is by Alice in Chains. The band was in Seattle, Washington and joined The North West Symphony Orchestra on stage for a few songs. The band and orchestra jumped into “Kashmir,” and absolutley blew the audience away! Everything about this was spot on: the guitar, the drums, the bass, the strings, and the vocals were also pretty solid!

Fun Fact: The original title was “Driving To Kashmir.” The signature guitar riff began as a tuning cycle Jimmy Page had been using for years. Plant thinks John Bonham’s drumming is the key to this: “It was what he didn’t do that made it work.”
