Keeping rock n’ roll alive!

Today’s music talent shows sometimes struggle to include all types of talent. Most of them are looking for one thing, and one ting only: singers. It’s very tough to make it as an act that doesn’t focus on singing, and it’s very rare non singing acts are even given a shot.

Well, on the most recent audition episode of America’s Got Talent, a non singing act finally broke through, and if you love classic rock, you’ll love this kid! 25 year old jay Jay Philips stepped on the audition stage, and shredded an amazing keytar solo along to Joan Jett’s “I Hate Myself for Loving You!” Jay Jay dressed up like a stereotypical 80s rocker, and was headbanging like a madman throughout the entire performance. One of the judges, Heidi, gave JJ the “X,” but the rocker was not phased. He finished his performance to a standing ovation, and even got some serious praise from Simon Cowell!
