This is hands down Avery Molek’s best work – really. The 8-year-old took on The Knack’s ‘My Sharona’, the song that you can never quite get out of your head; but the way Avery plays it from behind his kit is so good, you won’t want to get it out of your head! ‘My Sharona’ is ordinarily a pretty simple song, but Avery threw in his own fills to spice things up a bit and it’s here that you’re able to fully see the extent of his talent. He’s even having a great time – check out those awesome sunglasses he’s rocking!

Fun Fact: ‘My Sharona’ was Capitol Records’ fastest gold status debut single since the Beatles’ ‘I Want to Hold Your Hand’ in 1964.

His talent is almost unusual for someone so young, but if this is any indication of where he’s headed, we hope he takes us along for the ride!
