French teen Tina S. has proven time and again to be a force to be reckoned with. Whether she was powering through Eddie Van Halen’s ‘Eruption’ solo as easy as breathing, or paying tribute to David Gilmour’s iconic ‘Comfortably Numb’ solo, one thing is clear – this young lady has the skill and the talent to go literally anywhere she wants in the music world and be welcomed by any musician worth their salt!
This video features Tina tearing through Jason Becker’s ‘Altitudes’, and much has changed since the last time we saw her. She plays with much more emotion these days, with her facial expressions reflecting the work she puts into bending each guitar string to her will, and Tina puts a more concerted effort into feeling the music rather than approaching it as clinically as we’re used to seeing from her.
Fun Fact: After seeing the clip, Becker replied: “Wonderful playing, Tina! Thank you so much! I am honored!”
We didn’t expect this talented teen to get even better overnight, but she has! Tina, it’s been such a pleasure watching you grow as a musician over the past few months and we can’t wait to see where your phenomenal gift takes you!
