Someone get this kid a record deal!

11-year old Toby Lee just brought the house down with this incredible cover! Toby is from the UK, and began playing guitar when he was just 3 years old, when his grandmother bought him a small ukulele! At the age of 6, he picked up an electric guitar for the first time and became a master in blues and rock.

One of his heroes that Toby cites, is Stevie Ray Vaughan, and in this cover Toby tackles Stevie’s classic “The Sky Is Crying.” For the cover, he uses a specially made, custom replica guitar of Stevie’s stratocaster. The paint is chipped to look exactly like the original, and even comes complete with the letters “SVR” imprinted on the guitar!

Toby showcases his mastery improvisation skills, and improvises almost the entire cover with his own original solos and fills! Watch out for this kid in the future, he’s going to be great!

It seems like the talent for these incredible guitar players just keeps getting younger! But it’s nothing to complain about, because all it means is that these young kids are listening to great music, and avoiding the terrible popular music that seems to be polluting the airwaves these days!
