It Sure Is Fine!

“The Ocean” is dedicated to the sea of fans during their concerts and it was first released on March 28, 1973 for Led Zeppelin. It has that knotty and funky beat that fans love. During the intro, you can hear their drummer John Bonham as he says, “We’ve done four already but now we’re steady, and then they went 1, 2, 3, 4!”

The song unwinds to a coda consisting of a guitar solo and a doo-wop homage featuring backing vocals from John Paul Jones and John Bonham.

In this cover, a ten-year old boy channels the Led Zeppelin magic with his guitar cover of “The Ocean.” The moment we heard him play, we instantly became his fans. There’s just so much potential in this kid. Can anybody show this to Robert Plant or Jimmy Page? We bet they’ll be so proud!
